Anwer to Arianne and anybody else who wonders why Mom didn't make Jennie a birthday cake: Cause Jennie didn't want one! She wanted Creme Carmel, instead. And besides, she was out of town for that whole day, and the next one, too. So the kids and I bought ice cream ON her birthday, and sang happy birthday really loudly before we ate it.
And happy Birthday, Darling Girl!
