Me, On the News

Because I am a total expert on all things involving children, my opinion is extremely valuable. Which is why I was consulted for this story on a local news channel.

OK, fine, I’m not a parenting expert.

I just happen to be friends with a reporter (Jen from Baby Making Machine). And if she’s doing a story that involves teens, guess who she calls?

So you should watch this and learn about teens on Facebook. Also, check out my sweet ‘do. I had no idea I was going to be on TV; I just coincidentally looked cute that day. I love when fate smiles on me like that.

Lookin’ good, girl! Even your nails looked nice, clicking away on that keyboard. I’m a total Facebook checker-upper too. It’s the only way!

You are indeed cute. And you are indeed a great mom! I know your kids up close and personal, and I’ve never met a better bunch of kids from 6 to 16! You must be doing LOTS of things right.

You know, I’ve never checked YOU out on Facebook or Twitter. Hmmmm. Maybe I had better friend you!

Wow! Friends with Jen ? In real life? Like same ward and social circle? COOL. I read both your blogs but never put you together! I don’t know either of you for reals, but its awesome to think you both know each other. Cray Cray.

I couldn’t tell from the video clip whether or not you have full access to their accounts — the other woman was saying just to “friend” them, and that is NOT enough. You can’t check on their chats that way. Most of them don’t understand that their chats are there forever, also, and can be subpeonaed for use in a criminal trial, even if they are not themselves involved in the case.
